Due to move into a lovely new home, the Bishop family was looking for a high-quality climbing frame for their young son and baby daughter to play on and make memories together as a family. In October 2020, the family came to visit our Rainbow Show Site at Longacres Garden Centre, Surrey to talk to our experts about what they were looking for in a children’s climbing frame! They immediately fell in love with one of the beautiful sets we had on display!

After a quick chat, it seemed the family had a few specific requirements for their wooden climbing frame. They wanted it to be large enough for both of their children to play on at the same time, as well as a variety of features to keep their children busy & entertained. One very important factor for mum & dad was that they wanted the climbing frame to be made from high-quality materials that would be durable and safe for their children to play on for years to come! The added bonus to a Rainbow Climbing Frame is that it will be able to grow with their children and they can swap accessories around to suit the interests of their kids!

The Rainbow team worked closely with the Bishops to create a custom climbing frame that met all of their needs. The team removed the corkscrew climber from the original set and added an additional slide to the climbing frame, as requested by the family. They also made a couple of tweaks to the swing options to give the children lots of variation!

Delighted with the final design, they placed an order for the wooden climbing frame a few days later. To create a base for their children’s climbing frame, the Bishops also ordered a timber surround with high grade earth tones shredded rubber filling for their play area. They also added a couple of extra activities, including 2 chalk boards and a tic tac toe game.

Due to some delays in their house move, our expert installation team installed their lovely wooden climbing frame in March 2021.

The Bishops were thrilled with their new climbing frame. Their children absolutely loved it, and they spent hours playing on it every day. The outdoor climbing frame has been a great addition to the family's garden, and it has already given the family lots of happy memories!
