As Rainbow Play frames are modular, we can usually find a set that will work for all garden sizes. We have supplied to numerous town gardens as well as large county estates. It’s amazing how many activities can be fitted in to all sorts of spaces. Give us a call and we can help design something that works for your garden!
It is definitely a good idea to come and see our climbing frames and actually try them out. Very few providers of climbing frames actually have showsites where you can test the quality of the timbers and actually have a go on them whilst talking through the various options of deck sizes and accessories with one of our Rainbow Experts. We have show sites in Woodford, Cheshire, SK7 1QS and at Longacres Garden Centre in Bagshot, Surrey, GU19 5JB where you can see our climbing frames and chat to the Rainbow Sales Teams 7 days a week.
Some customers have built some of our simpler sets themselves, but it can take them a lot longer than they anticipated. Our Rainbow installers have over 17 years of experience in building Rainbow Climbing Frames and can have your new set built and ready for play usually within a day; meaning the kids can get on and play that very first day, with the peace of mind of build quality.
We have industry leading warranties on our climbing frames. With a lifetime warranty on all our timbers, our sets are designed and built to last. There are sets that are more than 18 years old, still going strong around the UK. We can also supply our water seal product that should be used every couple of years to help keep the wood in tip-top condition and adhere to Rainbow’s warranty requirements. The beauty of our modular sets means that you can add to your climbing frame as your children grow, extending the height of the frame and the complexity of the activities as your children grow and develop. This also means that you can add to the climbing frame as your budget allows too.
If you move house and don’t want to to part with your Rainbow climbing frame, then give us a call and we will quote for dismantling, moving and rebuilding your set for you.
From toddlers to teenagers, there is a climbing frame for you. The little ones might start off playing in the lower level playhouse, pretending to be a shop assistant, creating a puppet show, or just swinging in a baby swing seat. Young children will be in the crow’s nest on look out for pirate ships or in the upper level playhouse hiding from Mum and Dad! The teenagers will probably just be hanging out with their friends, pretending they are too cool to actually be playing!
Starting from as little as £2,000 and rising to as much as you like (currently our biggest residential creation has topped £55,000!). If your budget is not huge, we can also arrange a climbing frame finance scheme to suit you. Spreading the cost over a few years could be the right way for you to go.

At Rainbow we are proud to be green. Owning a Rainbow means making the environmentally responsible choice. For every one tree harvested to make a Rainbow, five new trees are planted. Our play sets are made with 100% solid Cedar (Pacific Cedar, Western Red Cedar, and Alaskan Yellow Cedar, Cunninghamia) Rainbow’s use of solid timbers in key structural areas (Main Support Members, Swing Beams and Swing Beam Support Legs) assures you that no safety, or quality is compromised.
Whilst many of our products are large and have large footprints that does not mean we can't be considered for small garden spaces.
If you are looking for play equipment then most of our wooden climbing frames are modular allowing you leave off or replace the bulkier items on the system. If you just don’t have space for a climbing frame then a playhouse is a great option. They have the smallest footprint of all outdoor play equipment and provide years of fun for your little ones.
The one thing we do have at Rainbow is years and years of expertise in helping families choose the right play equipment for their children, their garden and their budget.
